“This is my Bible. I am what it says I am. I have what it says I have. I can do what it says I can do. Today I will be taught the word of God. I boldly confess my mind is alert, my heart is receptive; Ill never be the same. In Jesus name, God bless you.” Joel Olsteen

The three messengers go to Sodom and knock on Lott’s door and say they will spend the night in the town square. Knowing how evil his fellow man was, Lott insist on bringing them in under his roof for the night. During this conversation, the town’s men got word and came to Lott’s door right after the messengers went inside; these depraved men wanted to have sex with them. Lott offers them his daughter in laws but they insisted to have sex with the messengers.
God no longer puts up with this and the messengers tell Lott to gather his family and flee because He is going to destroy both Sodom and Gomorrah. Lott pleads with them in order that he flees to Zoar which was a small, close island; Lott feared he could not flee farther because of his old age. The messengers agree and tell Lott and his family to leave and never look back.
As they fled, fire rained down and they could see the smoke. God destroyed both cities and plains surrounding them. Lott’s wife looked back and was turned into a pillar of salt.

Lott had no idea what they had done. They become pregnant and birthed Moab (father of the Moabites) and Ben Ammi (father of the Ammonites).
